The Blood Sands is a science-fantasy sandbox set on Xanathos — one of 97 terraformed moons orbiting a colossal gas giant, and the graveyard of a civilization that destroyed itself. The Silver Empire built god-machines to reshape a world, then lost control of them. What remains is a radioactive desert of red dust, warring factions, and ancient ruins still humming with dangerous technology. Inspired by John Carter, Heavy Metal, and Thundarr the Barbarian, the Blood Sands line includes:
- Setting guides laying out the history, factions, and power struggles of a dying world
- Playable alien classes, ultra-tech gear, and technocrafting rules for old-school science-fantasy play
- A bestiary of 32 strange creatures and mutants, fully compatible with Old-School Essentials
- Dungeon adventures beneath the ruins of a dead empire
